Immigrant Outreach

Enoch Hwang and Tanya Oranska serve with PINZ (People International NZ) and FFFT (Friends of Friends Fellowship Tauranga) with a ministry to reach out to immigrants with the love of Christ, through friendship, hospitality and helping with practical needs.

Many immigrants have come from societies vastly different from ours and must adjust to a new life in a foreign land.

Enoch and Tanya run courses to help Christians overcome the conflict of cultures when interacting with people different from us.

When we look at today’s reality of immigration, refugees and asylum seekers moving to New Zealand, we can see how the Lord has brought nations to our doorstep where the Gospel is freely shared.

What a great opportunity for us to be equipped to be able to share the Good News and love of Christ.

Enoch is also an experienced barista and has set up a coffee bar in a Turkish café in Papamoa.  You can help support Enoch and Tanya by heading to “Taste of Turkish” for a coffee or a meal.
